G-Shock GW-9400CMJ-3JR Men In Camouflage Series limited edition.

Hi everyone, This time I will introduce another type of model from the great Master of G series which is the Rangeman. There are already few types of Rangeman out there but I will be focusing on the latest released model,

GW-9400CMJ-3JR . Men In Camouflage series Rangeman

This model was released in March 2015 and being sold in all G-Shock retailer all over Japan. As we all already aware of, Casio had been focusing a lot about producing many types of 'camouflage' design watches lately. However, this is the first time that this design was introduce on a Rangeman model.

Comparing two green Rangeman. GW-9400CMJ-3JR (left) & GW-9400J-3JF (right)  . They almost looks the same at a glance but when are seen closely, even the shades of green are subtly different!



Looking into the details of this watch, it was based on a army green band and bezel and all the camouflage design was printed on the lower band and the upper band of the watch. These camouflage design was also being printed at the face of the watch which is located around the face. You need to get a closer look to be able to see it. Maybe you also could see it from my un-boxing video.



Also, one of the most iconic thing about this particular model is it's back plate which had been engraved with it's original theme, the wild cat with a compass on it's right wrist.



As model that was released in Japan. It is made with a Multiband 6 function built in for the most accurate time keeping and both of its band had been inserted with a layer of carbon fiber sheets which was meant to add a lot more strength to it. Aside from it's cool looking watch, this model also comes with lots of functionality such as the barometer, thermometer, altimeter and etc.

This watch has silver screws, back plate and side buttons. All had been beautifully polished to perfection. The backlight button however was made with a hard resin-like material. Refer to my video for a clearer view of what I meant.

This model also comes with a camouflaged printed in grey box and tin case. Though it is a little disappointing that casio made the box to be the same for all model from this series which is the FROGMAN and also MUDMAN.

Fits with it's beautiful design and lots of functionality, this model comes with a pretty high price, that is 52,000YEN + tax. However, I do see lots of online shops selling this models below that price. I got mine at 44,920YEN only. Totally worth the hunt.
