G-Shock GD-X6900MNM-1JR EMINEM collaboration special

Hi everyone, this time i will be reviewing on other different models which is the

GD-X6900MNM-1JR  aka the Eminem model

This is the first model from the big case GD-X6900 series that was choose to be a collaboration model. All was based on matte black model with just a little printed design on it.

Besides that this is a collaboration model with the world famous rap artist, every part of this model was made to be black.

The body of the watch, band and bezel,  backplate, buckle, band keeper and side piece (buttons) was also made to be black. All of this matte-black part was made through the process of black Ion Plating process. And to top all that and made this model stands out, Casio made the the face of this watch to be super glossy with mirror finished.

At the 12hour or the upper band, casio added the famous Detroit City skyline, printed in red as a reference to Eminem's birth place. At the 6hour band or the bottom band, they printed out Eminem's nick name which is the 'Slim Shady' as in autograph form in matte-dial black. To add more characteristic to this watch, they also printed out Eminem's famous logo, which is the reverse E,「∃」symbol on top of the watch face in red.

Everything didnt just stopped here, this watch also comes with very special hard case & box with all the reverse E and also his signature printed in and on top of the box which was also made in black. Even the pillow was made with a black leather material that is also have the slim shady signature on it.

This model probably look simple, but everything on it was put there for a reason. This is a piece of art. This same model was actually released in 3 versions. 

The first one is the one that i use in my video. The second version is basically the same watch but the different is that Eminem himself had sign on it using a white marker. Only 100 units worldwide with this version. The 3rd version is the rarest piece of all because they're only 5 pieces made worldwide. This time, the skyline design on the watch band at the 12 hour side was printed all in white.

This model was released at all retail stores all over Japan at a price of 21,000¥ with tax which is really cheap considering how much this piece of art will actually worth later on. If you guys are a fan of Slim Shady, this is one of his merchandise that should be in your posession.
